What is Manglik (Mangal Dosha)?

In Zohvia's implemented rule, Manglik is flagged when Mars falls in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house from one of three reference points. It is a traditional symbolic label, not evidence about a person's safety, character, health, or relationship.

Why check from three references instead of one?

Practices vary. Zohvia applies its rule from the Lagna, Moon, and Venus and shows each result separately. That describes this implementation; it does not establish a universally accepted or independently validated method.

What does Zohvia mean by an adjustment?

Zohvia records an own-sign or exaltation adjustment when Mars is in Mesha, Vrischika, or Makara, and a mutual adjustment when both profiles meet its flag condition. These are product rule states, not evidence that a risk existed or disappeared. Other schools use different rules.

What does the D9 chart detail add?

Zohvia shows the calculated D9 ascendant signs as chart details only. Equal or different signs do not validate or override the Manglik rule, change the total, or assess whether a marriage will work.

Is a Manglik flag a dealbreaker?

No. A Manglik flag or adjustment is not a reason to accept, reject, begin, delay, or end a relationship. Use direct communication and real-world evidence; seek qualified help for safety or relationship concerns.
